Red hexes (color codes or charms) abound in this tribute to the scarlet sisters of the world who cope with blood and often the unwarranted, silent shame that can accompany it - menstruation, afterbirth, menopause, illness, and even abuse. As women, we are taught to disguise and hide the deluge of blood raining upon us.
