Pink Perfection
A single rose in November, in bloom to its fullest with no sign of turning petals. This rose is peak perfection.
Sunny Dogwood
The dogwood in my yard holds special meaning for my family. We moved into our family home in the month of April, long ago, when the tree was in full bloom. Every April, despite whatever happens around me, I can count on the beauty of our blooming dogwood. Our tree demonstrates its perseverance every spring by adorning itself with a flourish of blossoms, despite past threats of fire, storms, broken branches, and climbing children.

Hyacinth Heaven
Every year, I enjoy these beautiful harbingers of spring...until I breathe in their fragrance. Their rich perfume sets my sinuses on fire. I must content myself to look upon them outside, where their aroma mingles with the other scents of spring. Still, I'll save the bulbs from the pot and plant in the ground for next year. They symbolize hope as we march into spring light.
